Paste this information, which contains the new passcode, into the meeting invites in Outlook. With the Copy Meeting Invitation box displayed, select Copy Meeting Invitation. There are several methods to update the meetings:įrom the Zoom web page, with the updated meeting displayed, locate the Invite Link and select Copy Invitation. Once you have added the passcode and saved the change, you need to update the meeting invite.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save. A passcode will automatically be generated but you can remove this and create your own passcode. Locate the Security setting and check the Passcode box. When prompted select All if a recurring meeting, otherwise leave the default of Only this meeting. Select the meeting that requires a passcode and at the bottom of the page, click Edit this Meeting. Select the tab Upcoming to view your future scheduled meetings. What are Waiting Rooms and how do they work?
Passcodes are unique to your meetings and are to be shared with your invited meeting participants along with the meeting ID for access.
To improve the security of meetings, Zoom will require that all meetings have a Passcode or a Waiting Room enabled.
